27/28th March 2010
Castrol Superbike & NZ TT Meeting.
The last round of the NZ Champs was held in great weather at the new
Hampton Downs circuit over the weekend
with some extremely good racing thrown in to boot. Andrew Stroud
claimed the Number One Plate back from Robbie Bugden so at least we've
beaten the Australians at something. |

14th March 2010
NZPCRA & AMCC Test and No 1 Plate
Day.
The combined test and No. 1 Plate day held by NZPCRA and AMCC at Hampton
Downs was a good shake down leading up to the Nationals at the end of
the month. Some great shot are to be had, but the track is a bit
hard to move around as far as a photographer is concerned. Take a
look at the images and see what you think. I used the day as a
test myself to work out the best positions. |

21st February 2010
2010 Yamaha Battle Of The Streets.
Another huge crowd made their way to Paeroa for the 19th BOTS race
day. The weather turned on a scorcher so lots of sun block was the
order of the day. Some great racing occurred but the day was
marred with a serious accident involving two sidecars which finished the
meeting early. It was with deep regret that I heard on Monday that
the rider of one of the machines had died overnight from his injuries.
I extend my condolences to his family and friends. |

5-7th February 2010
2010 NZCMRR Classic Festival.
Another huge turn out for the 31st running of the Classic Festival
at Pukekohe. One of the main attractions was Lea Gourlay racing a
Moto Paton and showing why many believe he is the best classic racer in
the world at present. A great meeting that is getting bigger and bigger
as the years go on. Happy viewing. |

22nd January 2010
AMCN International Island
Classic. Again, I had the privilege to travel to Phillip Island and
witness the International Classic meeting in January. What a great
spectacle at such an awesome venue. The racing was unbelievable by
teams from Aust, NZ and the UK, with current World Endurance Champion,
Steve Martin, clean sweeping the 4 rounds on the Intl Challenge. Enjoy
the shots. |

13th December 2009
AMCC Protecta Club Championship.
The weather gods were on the clubs side for Sundays racing at Pukekohe
with a great days events just adding to the mix. |
|
|
25th October 2009
NZCMRR Classic TT. Well
compared to last years event, the sunshine was a marked change. As
normal, a well run meeting with some extremely good racing. Bad luck I
lost the images from Saturday. |

|
16th August 2009
FIM World Junior MX
Championship. History was made when, for the first time, a FIM
Motocross World Championship event was held outside Europe and New
Zealand had the honour! Taupo MCC did another great job with this
event and a good crowd turned out to witness it. |
|
|
31st May 2009
AMCC Protecta Club Championship.
After some pretty bad weather leading up to the weekend, Sunday morning
at Pukekohe turned out to be brilliant with a drying track. A good days
racing with few incidents but the weather turned, and we got to go home early
again. |
|
|
26th April 2009
AMCC Protecta Club Championship.
Well, what a good day for ducks! Pukekohe turned on another day of
unpredictable weather with enough rain that the meeting was looking like
being cancelled at one stage. In the end the races were shortened,
everyone had a ride, and we got to go home early. |

|
8th March 2009
Castrol Superbike & NZ TT Meeting.
The last round of the NZ Champs was held in great weather at Pukekohe
with some extremely good racing thrown in to boot. The silverware
for the 600's and Superbikes went across the Ditch once again. |
|
|
6-8th February 2009
2009 NZCMRR Classic Festival.
Another huge turn out for the 30th running of the Classic Festival
at Pukekohe. One of the main attractions was Kevin Schwantz racing
a Manx Norton keeping up his winning ways by taking out all six events
he raced in, albeit with some close finishes. Happy viewing. |

23-25th January 2009
AMCN International Island
