18th / 20th November 2011
Australian Historic Road Race Champs.
The Moto Guzzi Australian Historic Road Race Champs were held at Symmons
Plains, Tasmania this year in what were rather trying conditions weather
wise. The Kiwi representation this year was solely Terry Martin
who was showing promise before suffering a broken leg during a race on
Sunday. |

from Sunday of the Classic TT at Hampton Downs. The weather gods were
kind but some of the fields were down and this was represented

The fourth round of the NZ Champs was held at the
Hampton Downs circuit over the weekend
with some extremely good racing. Andrew Stroud

as the years go on. Happy viewing. |

14th March 2010
NZPCRA & AMCC Test and No 1 Plate
Day.
The combined test and No. 1 Plate day held by NZPCRA and AMCC at Hampton
Downs was a good shake down leading up to the Nationals at the end of
the month. Some great shot are to be had, but the track is a bit
hard to move around as far as a photographer is concerned. Take a
look at the images and see what you think. I used the day as a
test myself to work out the best positions. |

21st February 2010
2010 Yamaha Battle Of The Streets.
Another huge crowd made their way to Paeroa for the 19th BOTS race
day. The weather turned on a scorcher so lots of sun block was the
order of the day. Some great racing occurred but the day was
marred with a serious accident involving two sidecars which finished the
meeting early. It was with deep regret that I heard on Monday that
the rider of one of the machines had died overnight from his injuries.
I extend my condolences to his family and friends. |
